Colmar loop and “the storkiest village yet”.
Day 3 started with rain at 9 so we left at 9:30 without a drop all day! Perfect weather as we looped out of the hotel and did a nice easy ride along the Route de Vins. I could ride this everyday I thought to myself. Just rolling along in and out of villages. Not much time again for blogging so I will leave you with some more food and stork pics with some short descriptions below.
Dessert from our fabulous dinner last night of lime sorbet and mini macarons, amazing

Those macarons are making my mouth water! And the stork on the roof with no nest….what will he do???
ReplyDeleteFood pics all look delish. Glad to know you are not starving!!🥰
The marmite was beyond disgusting. The photo of me eating above is after I had first tasted it. The first grimace was even worse.
ReplyDeleteFirst, the first profile of Gunther looks like Patrick Stewart- a pretty good doppelgänger! The food does look yummy and as in previous posts, your commentary is spot on. Enjoyed another day with you as I live vicariously through you and your adventure. ❤️ Grace
ReplyDeleteSo funny the cyclists on our trip said “you know who you look like?” Patrick Stewart! I’ve been with him when twice when this has happened. Must be the hair!
